JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the day-to-day direction and oversight of work performed in the maintenance department. Installs, inspects, maintains and executes primary repair of equipment utilized in the proper function of the facilities main and secondary systems. Preserves efficient operation on a variety of mechanized, electrical and/or automated equipment. Diagnoses operating problems, makes repairs and adjustments to maintain equipment at optimum operating efficiency. Reads and interprets prints, sketches, drawings, equipment manuals and diagrams. Works alongside and leads a team of maintenance technicians.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 Leads and supervises maintenance personnel, approves timecards, training, etc.
 Assist with specification of new equipment and equipment upgrades, ensures that any issues such as safety, maintenance, economy, and installation are brought to Management’s attention.
 Install and maintain new equipment and upgrades to existing equipment.
 Ensure that equipment and installation meet codes and proper permitting is obtained.
 Responsible for maintenance of facility to include, HVAC system, boiler, chiller, air compressor, security system, etc.
 Production machinery in Precision Machining and Electroforming
 Able to troubleshoot equipment problems, correct minor failures, and interface with vendors on major malfunctions
 Establish schedule and perform routine maintenance for all equipment.
 Establish replacement and spare part inventory
 Maintain contact with vendors and suppliers of maintenance of all equipment
 Will oversee Maintenance Department for all building housekeeping activities to include keeping warehouse clean and organized, store and or dispose of any excess equipment, maintain area(s), repair, and paint or clean.
 Ground’s maintenance of facility which includes general clean up, snow removal on all walkways, keeping emergency exits free and clear.
 Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 May work on related projects.
 Follow prescribed safety guidelines in accordance to ORAFOL Americas Safety program; use required PPE.
 Maintains an optimal level of product quality and adheres to ORAFOL’s Quality Program. POSITION
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements:
 High School Diploma, Associates Degree Preferred in electrical, mechanical or industrial maintenance.
 Forklift certification.
 Must have good communication skills

Work Experience:
 8 years of general maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
 Strong mechanical and industrial skills preferred in one or several of the following areas; electrical, hydraulics,
Pneumatics, HVAC.
